1. What are the steps to register online for admission at DPS Tapi ?
Follow the instructions below in sequence to register online for admission:
  a) Read all the documents related to admission procedure thoroughly, to avoid error.
  b) Complete Online Registration form, checking carefully to avoid error before submission.
  c) Make online payment towards registration and processing fee.
  d) Attend Know DPS Tapi, Know Each Other Session (Nursery – Prep) / Know DPS Tapi, Know Each Other Session & Proficiency Assessment (Classes I-IX) as per the schedule shared with you and submit necessary documentation. On completion of online registration process and payment of processing fee you will receive an email with schedule and documents to be brought. Please refer to www.dpstapi.edu.in for more details.
 
2. What are the guidelines for filling online Registration form?
Please refer to the "Guidelines on Filling up the Registration Form" to see a sample completed registration form. The details submitted online will be final and no corrections will be entertained later under any circumstances.
 
3. What are the registration charges? How should I pay?
The registration processing charges are Rs.2,000/-. You will be directed to a payment gateway after you fill the registration form online and click « submit ». Using your Credit/ Debit/ Internet banking services you can make the necessary payment.
 
4. Are there any recommended browser and devices for online registration process?
Yes, Chrome is the recommended browser and we advise parents to register online using a desktop or laptop to avoid any errors in entering data in the online registration form.
 
5. Do we need to submit or upload any documents or photographs online while filling up the online registration form?
No, do not submit/upload any documents while filling the online registration form. Once you submit online registration form and complete payment of registration and processing charges you will receive an Email with the list of documents to be submitted on the day of Know Each Other Session.
 
6. What are the documents to be carried out for Know Each Other Session?
You need to carry the Originals along with Self-Attested Photocopies of the following documents along with you on the day of Know Each Other Session.

7. If one parent is unable to attend the Know Each Other Session or is absent at the time of the admission process, will it affect my ward’s selection/admission?
We, as a school, strongly believe that both parents play a significant role in the education of a child. It is therefore necessary for both parents to be present at the Know Each Other Session and Admission process. In case this is not possible, prior intimation should be given to school via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
 
8. If, while filling up the registration form I have missed out on any detail or made a mistake, can I complete/alter that later?
Once the form is submitted and online payment made, the submitted form cannot be retrieved for any alterations/changes. Any such requests will go unanswered. It is expected that all information given under the ‘Admissions’ module on the school website be thoroughly read and understood, before the Form is filled up, to avoid any mistakes. Parents should take care that the name of candidate, mother’s name and father’s name are as per their ID proof. Date of birth should be entered as per the Birth Certificate. Once entered at the time of registration, date of birth cannot be changed later under any circumstances.
 
9. Suppose my documents are not as per the requirements of the school, will I be given some other date to report with proper documents?
No extension of time will be given to fulfill deficiency in documents submission, except in the case of Transfer Certificate and Aadhar Card. Even these two documents should be submitted either on the date of admission / before date of joining. The Registration of the candidate will be summarily cancelled if documents are not submitted at the time of admission.
 
10. Is the age criterion being followed very rigidly? Can any allowance be made for a candidate whose age falls short of or exceeds given criteria by just a few days?
Yes, age criteria are strictly adhered to. Even up to a single day’s difference, especially up to Class III. This is to facilitate a fair and just admission process and as per prescribed norms. (Refer to Age Criteria).
 
11. Can I submit any other document as proof of date of birth, contrary to what is prescribed?
No, only the Date of Birth Certificate issued by a Municipal Corporation will be accepted. Birth certificate issued by a Doctor/Nursing Home/Hospital or by Affidavit will be not acceptable.
 
12. In case I do not receive the SMS/Email after submitting the Registration Form and making payment successfully (amount is debited from my card/account), what should I do?
  First, check your email ID’s Spam/Junk box and also ensure that you filled up the correct email ID and mobile number in the Form. If you still find that no SMS/E-mail has been received, you should write to This email address is being protected from spambots. 13. When and how will I be informed about the date and time of Know DPS Tapi, Know Each Other Session (Nursery – Prep) / Know DPS Tapi, Know Each Other Session & Proficiency Assessment (Classes I-IX)?
After Completion of Online Registration, you will receive an email with the complete details along with the list of documents to be submitted by you on the day of Know DPS Tapi, Know Each Other Session (Nursery – Prep) / Know DPS Tapi, Know Each Other Session & Proficiency Assessment (Classes I-IX).
 
14. How do I communicate with the school during the Admissions Process?

15. If the payment is made twice for the same form, how can this be corrected?

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with complete proof of the two payments made, along with Registration Form No., Name of the Candidate, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth, Class Applied For and Date on which Application was submitted online. Admission Committee will revert back to you after receiving confirmation from the banker.
 
16. What will happen, if I register the same candidate twice?
Register candidate only once and wait for an email confirmation from admission committee. If you do not receive any email from us (please check your Spam/Junk folder) you may write to us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you register second time without waiting for the confirmation, there will be no refund.
 
17. If the Date of birth filled in registration form is not matching with the documents submitted at the time of Know Each Other Session, can the document be corrected?
The details submitted online are final and no corrections will be entertained later. The registration will stand cancelled if there is any mismatch of data. In such cases, no refund of registration charges will be admissible.
 
18. If I wish to cancel my registration after fee payment, will the charges paid be refunded?
The registration charges once paid will neither be refundable nor transferable under any circumstances.
 
19. If I wish to cancel Admission, will fee paid at the time of admission be refunded?
Amount paid at the time of admission is neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances, even in case where a student wants to withdraw from the school after having taken admission, or seeks admission in any other DPS. Only Security Deposit, after adjusting Dues, will be refunded.
 
20. Does the distance of residence from school matter in securing admission?
Yes, the distance of residence from school, sibling studying in school, girl candidate, etc. are some of the parameters on which admission will be based
 
21. Should the candidate attend Know Each Other Session?
Yes, for a fair and equitable admission procedure, the candidate along with both parents is required to attend every Session on school campus.
 
22. If student is leaving the school during the term, will the fee be refunded?
No fees / charges, partial or full, will be refunded if the said student is required to leave the School during term-time for any reasons. One clear calendar months’ notice in writing or a months’ fee in lieu of notice must be given before student is withdrawn.
 
23. Bus facility is available for students?
DPS Tapi provides optional bus facility, which is outsourced to transport contractors. Once the bus transport facility is availed it will have to be continued till the end of the academic year. Transport Fees, partial or full, will not be refunded in case of withdrawal/cancellation of admission or withdrawal of bus transport during the academic year.
 
24. Can the parents get to see the school campus?
Normally, before registering, parents are encouraged to visit campus (with prior appointment) from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm from Monday to Saturday to catch our students in action.

No fees / charges, partial or full, will be refunded if the said student is required to leave the School during term-time for any reasons. One clear calendar months’ notice in writing or a months’ fee in lieu of notice must be given before student is withdrawn.
*The fee & heads of fees will be applicable until further directions from appropriate authorities due to the pending final outcome of the sub-judice matter. The heads of fee & amount collected under these heads may be appropriated under different / new heads as decided / ordered by the competent authority and School Managing Committee based on the final outcome of the sub-judice matter.
^In the year of seeking admission and subsequently charged in the beginning of the academic year when the student gets promoted to Class I, Class IX & Class XI.
