Provisional admission will be granted, subject to Class X Board Exam results. |
7. What are the steps to register for admission to Class XI at DPS Tapi? |
Steps involved in online Registration Process are as follows: |
a) Read all the documents related to admission procedure. |
b) Complete Online Registration form. |
c) Make online payment towards registration and processing fee. |
d) Appear for the Aptitude Test as per the schedule shared with you and submit necessary documents. On completion of online registration process and payment of processing fee you will receive an email with schedule and documents to be brought. Please refer to www.dpstapi.edu for more details. |
e) Both the parents along with the candidate should attend Gauge Your Aptitude-1 Session as per the schedule shared with you |
8. What are the requirements for filling online Registration form? |
The form will only require basic data of the candidate and both parents. You may refer to the ‘Guidelines for Filling up the Registration Form’. The details submitted online will be final and no corrections will be entertained later under any circumstances. |
9. Are there any recommended browser and devices for online registration process? |
Yes, Google Chrome is the recommended browser and we advise parents to register online using a desktop or laptop to avoid any errors in entering data in the online registration form. Online Registration using Mobiles phones or tablets is not at all advisable. |

All the above mentioned details should be as per your ward's Class X Board Exam Admit Card / existing school records only. In case of discrepancy, the details mentioned on the Transfer Certificate from the previous school will be considered as final. |
12. Are there any charges for registration? If yes, how should I pay? |
Yes, you need to pay Rs.2,000/- towards registration and processing charges. After you complete filling the registration form online and click submit, you will be directed to a payment gateway. Using your Credit / Debit / Internet banking services you can make the necessary payment. |
13. If the payment is done twice for the same form, how should I go about sorting out this issue? |

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with complete proof of the two payments made, along with Registration Form No., Name of the Candidate, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth, Class Applied For and Date on which Application was submitted online. 14. Do we need to submit or upload any documents or photographs online while filling up the online registration form? |
No. You don’t have to submit or upload any documents while filling the online Registration Form. Once you submit online Registration Form and payment of registration charges you will receive an Email with the details of list of documents to be submitted on the day of Aptitude Test. |
15. What are the documents to be carried for the Aptitude Test? |
You need to carry the following documents along with you on the day of Aptitude Test: |

2. Student’s Birth Certificate – Self-attested photocopy of Birth Certificate (issued by the Municipal Corporation). Birth Certificates issued by Doctors / Nursing Homes / Hospitals and Affidavits will not be accepted. |

i. Self-attested photocopy of the Final Report Card of Class IX 2021-22. |
ii. Self-attested photocopy of CBSE Class X Term I, Term II & Pre Board or equivalent Report Card of 2022-23. |

16. If my documents are not as per the requirements of the school, will I be given some other date to report with proper documents? |
No extension of time will be given to fulfil deficiency in documents sought by the school at any stage of the admission process. The Registration of the candidate will be summarily cancelled in such cases. |
17. Can I submit any other document as proof of date of birth, contrary to what is prescribed? |
No, only the Date of Birth Certificate issued by a Municipal Corporation will be accepted. Birth certificate issued by a Doctor / Nursing Home / Hospital and Affidavit will not be accepted |
18. If, while filling up the form I have missed out on any detail or made a mistake, can I complete / alter that later? |
Once submitted and online payment made, even minor changes will not be allowed on the Registration Form. The submitted Form cannot be retrieved to make changes, hence such requests will go unanswered. It is expected that all information given under ‘Admissions’ module on the school website be thoroughly read and understood, before the Form is filled up, to avoid any mistakes. |
19. In case I do not receive the SMS/Email after submitting the Registration Form and making payment successfully (amount is debited from my card/account), what should I do? |
First, you must check your email ID’s Spam/Junk mail and also ensure that you filled up the correct email ID and mobile number in the Form. 20. What will happen if I register twice for the same candidate? |
You should only register once for one candidate. After completing the online registration process, wait for an email confirmation from Admission Committee. If you do not receive any email from school, please verify your Spam/Junk folders and then email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you register a second time without waiting for the confirmation, there will be no refund and automatically the second registration will be cancelled. |
21. If I wish to cancel my registration after fee payment, will the charges paid be refunded? |
The registration charges once paid will neither be refundable nor transferable under any circumstances. |
22. Can the date and time of the Aptitude Test be changed, if we are unable to attend the same as per the schedule? |
No. The schedule for Aptitude Test will not be changed. We strongly recommend you not to register, in case you are unable to attend the Aptitude Test as per the Pre-announced schedule. |
23. If one parent is unable to attend the Know Your School Session or is absent at the time of the Admission process, will it affect my ward’s selection/admission? |
DPS Tapi strongly believes that both parents play a significant role in the growth of a child. Hence, it is requested that both parents be present at the time of Know Your School Session and Admission process. 24. Can the parents get to see the school campus? |
Local candidates are advised to visit school between 9 am to 12 pm on Mon-Fri before online registration. Out-station candidates may be taken on a guided school visit on the day of the Aptitude Test as part of Know Your School. |
25. If I wish to cancel Admission, will fee paid at the time of admission be refunded? |
Amount paid at the time of admission is neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances, even in case where a student wants to withdraw from the school after having taken admission, or seeks admission in any other DPS. Only Security Deposit, after adjusting Dues, will be refunded. |
26. Will there be any change in fee, from the fee mentioned on the website? |
As the school fee structure is currently a subjudice matter, the total fee applicable for the upcoming new academic session will be updated on our website before the commencement of the session, subject to final outcome of pending judicial proceedings. |
27. If student is leaving the school during the term, will the fee be refunded? |
No fees / charges, partial or full, will be refunded if the said student is required to leave the School during term-time for any reasons. One clear calendar months’ notice in writing or a months’ fee in lieu of notice must be given before student is withdrawn. |
28. Bus facility is available for students? |
DPS Tapi provides optional bus facility, which is outsourced to transport contractors. Once the bus transport facility is availed it will have to be continued till the end of the academic year. Transport Fees, partial or full, will not be refunded in case of withdrawal/cancellation of admission or withdrawal of bus transport during the academic year. |

The online registration process is to help you avoid standing in queue. You can complete and submit the form with more convenience. The form will require specific data of candidate and both the parents. Please refer to the "Guidelines on Filling up the Registration Form" to see a sample completed registration form. 3. What is the registration charges? How should I pay? | ||

8. If, while filling up the registration form I have missed out on any detail or made a mistake, can I retrieve/alter that later? | ||
Once the form is submitted and online payment made, the submitted form cannot be retrieved for any alterations/changes. Any such requests will go unanswered. It is expected that all information given under the ‘Admissions’ module on the school website be thoroughly read and understood, before the Form is filled up, to avoid any mistakes. Parents should take care that the name of candidate, mother’s name and father’s name are as per their ID proof. Date of birth should be entered as per the Birth Certificate. Once entered at the time of registration, date of birth cannot be changed later under any circumstances. | ||
9. Suppose my documents are not as per the requirements of the school, will I be given some other date to report with proper documents? | ||
No extension of time will be given to fulfill deficiency in documents submission, except in the case of Transfer Certificate and Aadhar Card. Even these two documents should be submitted either on the date of admission / before date of joining. The Registration of the candidate will be summarily cancelled if documents are not submitted at the time of admission. | ||
10. Is the age criterion being followed very rigidly? Can any allowance be made for a candidate whose age falls short of or exceeds given criteria by just a few days? | ||
Yes, age criteria are strictly adhered to. Even up to a single day’s difference, especially up to Class I. This is to facilitate a fair and just admission process and as per prescribed norms. (Refer to Age Criteria). | ||
11. Can I submit any other document as proof of date of birth, contrary to what is prescribed? | ||
No, only the Date of Birth Certificate issued by a Municipal Corporation will be accepted. Birth certificate issued by a Doctor/Nursing Home/Hospital or by Affidavit will be not acceptable. | ||

The details submitted online are final and no later corrections will be entertained. The registration will stand cancelled if there is any mismatch of data. In such cases, no refund of registration charges will be admissible. | ||

Amount paid at the time of admission is neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances, even in case where a student wants to withdraw from the school after having taken admission, or seeks admission in any other DPS. Only Security Deposit, after adjusting Dues, will be refunded. | ||

22. Should the candidate attend Know Your School Session (Nursery – Prep) / Gauge Your Aptitude Session (Classes I-IX)? | ||
Yes, for a fair and equitable admission procedure, the candidate along with both parents is required to attend every Session on school campus. | ||
23. Will there be any change in fee, from the fee mentioned on the website? | ||
As the school fee structure is currently a subjudice matter, the total fee applicable for the upcoming new academic session will be updated on our website before the commencement of the session, subject to final outcome of pending judicial proceedings. | ||
24. If student is leaving the school during the term, will the fee be refunded? | ||
No fees / charges, partial or full, will be refunded if the said student is required to leave the School during term-time for any reasons. One clear calendar months’ notice in writing or a months’ fee in lieu of notice must be given before student is withdrawn. | ||
25. Bus facility is available for students? | ||
DPS Tapi provides optional bus facility, which is outsourced to transport contractors. Once the bus transport facility is availed it will have to be continued till the end of the academic year. Transport Fees, partial or full, will not be refunded in case of withdrawal/cancellation of admission or withdrawal of bus transport during the academic year. |
