The following documents must be submitted on Know Your School Meeting / Aptitude Test date.
1. Self attested photocopies of Aadhar Cards of both parents 
2. Self attested photocopy of Aadhar Card / Aadhar Card Enrollment Receipt of candidate seeking admission (mandatory – may be submitted at the time of admission).
3. In addition to Aadhar Card, any one of these documents in the name of one parent may be submitted: Voter ID Card / Passport / Driving License / Bank Passbook / Ration Card / Electricity bill / Telephone bill / Gas Bill / LIC Policy / Vera (House Tax).
4. Self attested photocopy of Birth Certificate (issued by the Municipal Corporation) with name of the candidate seeking admission. Birth Certificates issued by doctors, nursing homes and hospitals, or affidavits will not be accepted.
5. Two each (total six) passport size, colour photograph of candidate, father and mother in current age.
6. Candidate may submit / undertake to submit at the time of admission, a self-attested photocopy of the last issued Report Card (preferably stating promotion to the class for which admission is sought). This is not applicable for Pre-primary candidates attending school for the first time.
7. Candidate seeking admission to Class II and above may undertake to submit at the time of admission / before the date of joining, a Transfer Certificate counter-signed by the relevant Education Board/DEO, stating promotion to the class for which admission is sought. Please check before submission that all names and dates on the Transfer certificate are correct as per ID Proof and Birth Certificate.

1. What are the steps to register online for admission at DPS Tapi?
 

Follow the instructions below in sequence to register online for admission:

  a) Read all the documents related to admission procedure thoroughly, to avoid error.
  b) Complete Online Registration form, checking carefully to avoid error before submission.
  c) Make online payment towards registration and processing fee.
  d) Attend Know Your School (Meeting for Pre Nursery to Prep / Aptitude Test for Classes I - IX) as per the schedule shared with you and submit necessary documentation. On completion of online registration process and payment of processing fee you will receive an email with schedule and documents to be brought.
       
2. What are the requirements for filling online Registration form?
  The online registration process is to help you avoid standing in queue. You can complete and submit the form with more convenience. The form will require specific data of candidate and both the parents. Please refer to the "Guidelines on Filling up the Registration Form" to see a sample completed registraton form. The details submitted online will be final and no correctioins will be entertained later under any circumstances.
       
3. What are the charges for registration ? How should I pay?
  The registration processing charges are Rs.2,000/-. You will be directed to a payment gateway after you fill the registration form online and click « submit ». Using your Credit/ Debit/ Internet banking services you can make the necessary payment.
   
4. Do we need to submit or upload any documents or photographs online while filling up the online registration form?
  No, do not submit/upload any documents while filling the online registration form. Once you submit online registration form and complete payment of registration and processing charges you will receive an Email with the list of documents to be submitted on the day of Know Your School (Pre Nursery to Prep Meeting / Classes I to IX Aptitude Test). The schedule of the Pre-Primary Meeting will also be in the same Email.
       
5. What are the documents to be carried for the “Know Your School Testing” / Aptitude Test?
  You need to carry the following documents along with you on the day of Know Your School (Pre Nursery to Prep Meeting / Classes I to IX Aptitude Test).
  1. Self attested photocopy of Aadhar Card of both parents.

6. If one parent is unable to attend the Know Your School Meeting will it affect my ward’s selection/admission?
  We, as a school, strongly believe that both parents play a significant role in the education of a child. It is therefore necessary for both parents to be present at the Know Your School session. In case this is not possible, prior intimation should be given to school via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
       
7. If, while filling up the registration form I have missed out on any detail or made a mistake, can I retrieve/alter that later?
  Once the form is submitted and online payment made, the submitted form cannot be retrieved for any alterations/changes. Any such requests will go unanswered. It is expected that all information given under the ‘Admissions’ module on the school website be thoroughly read and understood, before the Form is filled up, to avoid any mistakes. Parents should take care that the name of candidate, mother’s name and father’s name are as per their ID proof. Date of birth should be entered as per the Birth Certificate. Once entered at the time of registration, date of birth cannot be changed later under any circumstances.
       
8. Suppose my documents are not as per the requirements of the school, will I be given some other date to report with proper documents?
  No extension of time will be given to fulfill deficiency in documents submission, except in the case of Transfer Certificate and Aadhar Card. Even these two documents should be submitted either on the date of admission / before date of joining. The Registration of the candidate will be summarily cancelled if documents are not submitted at the time of admission.
   
9. Is the age criterion being followed very rigidly? Can any allowance be made for a candidate whose age falls short of or exceeds given criteria by just a few days?
  Yes, age criteria are strictly adhered to. Even a day’s difference is not acceptable, especially up to Class I. This is to facilitate a fair and just admission process and as per prescribed norms. (Refer to Age Criteria).
       
10. Can I submit any other document as proof of date of birth, contrary to what is prescribed?
  No, only the Date of Birth Certificate issued by a Municipal Corporation will be accepted. Birth certificate issued by a Doctor/Nursing Home/Hospital or by Affidavit will be not acceptable.
11. In case I do not receive the SMS/Email after submitting the Registration Form and making payment successfully (amount is debited from my card/account), what should I do?
 

First, check your email ID’s Spam/Junk box and also ensure that you filled up the correct email ID and mobile number in the Form. If you still find that no SMS/E-mail has been received, you should write to This email address is being protected from spambots.   • Registration Form No. (if noted)
  • Name of the Candidate
  • Date of Birth
  • Parent’s Name
  • Class Applied For
  • Date on which Application was submitted online
  • Proof of successful payment for Registration
   
12. When and how will I be informed about the date and time of Know Your School Meeting / Aptitude Test?
  As soon as your payment is made you will be able to see the date and time of your Know Your School Meeting / Aptitude test. You will also receive an Email with the complete details along with the list of documents to be submitted by you on the day of Know Your School Meeting / Aptitude Test.
       
13. How do I communicate with the school during the Admissions Process?

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. mentioning the Registration Form No. (if noted), Name of the Candidate, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth, Class Applied For and Date on which Application was submitted online.
   
14. If the payment is made twice for the same form, how can this be corrected?

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with complete proof of the two payments made, along with Registration Form No., Name of the Candidate, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth, Class Applied For and Date on which Application was submitted online. Admission Committee will revert back to you after receiving confirmation from the banker.
       
15. What will happen, if I register the same candidate twice?
  Register one candidate only once and wait for an email confirmation from admission committee. If you do not receive any email (please verify your spam/ Junk folders), you may write to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you register for a second time without waiting for the confirmation, then the second registration will be automatically cancelled with no refund.
   
16. If the Date of birth filled in registration form is not matching with the documents submitted at the time of Know Your School Meeting / Admission Test, can the document be corrected?
  The details submitted online are final and no later corrections will be entertained. The registration will stand cancelled if there is any mismatch of data. In such cases, no refund of registration charges will be admissible.
       
17. If I wish to cancel my registration after fee payment, will the charges paid be refunded?
  The registration charges once paid will neither be refundable nor transferable under any circumstances.
   
18. Does the distance of residence from school matter in securing admission?
  Yes, the distance of residence from school, sibling studying in school, girl candidate, etc. are some of the parameters on which admission will be based
   
19. Are there any recommended browser and devices for online registration process
  Yes, Chrome is the recommended browser and we advise parents to register online using a desktop or laptop to avoid any errors in entering data in the online registration form.
   
20. Will there be any change in fee, from the fee mentioned on the website?
  Fee structure is subject to change as decided by the school managing committee and presently sub judice. Please follow the school website for any update.
   
21. What are the modes of online payment?
