Assembly: Janmashtami
Janmashtami, the festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, was celebrated with enthusiasm and devotion at Delhi Public School Tapi on 23 August 2024, wherein the students of classes Nursery and Prep conducted an assembly filled with cultural performances. The stage was beautifully decorated with traditional motifs, including colourful matkis, toran and images of Lord Krishna. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by the use of bright lights and traditional banners. Students performances included various acts like devotional song, two short skits. In the first act students showcased the importance of the traditional Dahi Handi event dressed up in different religious outfits. This activity conveyed a message of unity. The second one came up with a beautiful message of righteous donation. The last performance added sparks, filling up the atmosphere with devotional dynamics. The assembly ended with National Anthem which is a ritual at our school. The day ended with beautiful take aways and sweets for the occasion.
