International Yoga Day
Students of Classes III-V participated in a vibrant yoga session on 21 June 2024 under the observance of International Yoga Day. The students enthusiastically practiced various asanas, including Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation), Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) and Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), under the guidance of skilled instructors. The session emphasised the benefits of yoga for physical strength, flexibility and mental relaxation. Following the yoga practice, a quiz was conducted in the classroom to test the students' knowledge about yoga, its history and its benefits. The quiz fostered a deeper understanding and appreciation of yoga among the students, making the day both educational and enjoyable. Overall, the event was a wonderful blend of physical activity and learning, contributing significantly to the students' holistic development.
