Veer Bal Diwas

Veer Bal Diwas was observed on 26 December 2024 as a nationwide celebration dedicated to honouring children as the foundation of India’s future. DPS Tapi organised various engaging activities themed around ‘Veerta,’ showcasing acts of courage, kindness and resilience displayed by children on 23 and 24 December 2024.

At the Fundamental Stage, Class I students created drawings of things that brought them happiness, while Class II students wrote articles reflecting on what made them happy.

At the Preparatory Stage, students from classes III to V showcased their talents. Class III participated in a painting competition, where they expressed their thoughts through colourful and imaginative artwork, demonstrating their creativity and understanding of the theme. Class IV participated in the “My Dream for India" essay writing competition, displaying their writing skills. Class V students took part in a storytelling competition on the themes “My Dream for India” and “What Makes Me Happy,” showcasing their creativity and eloquence, making it a highlight of the celebration. Class V-B students also organized a Veer Baal Diwas Assembly. The event featured a captivating Gujarati drama that highlighted the significance of Veer Baal Diwas and showcased the courageous and kind acts of children. Additionally, students presented a vibrant dance that embodied the spirit of courage, brimming with energy and colour.

The event was a resounding success, filled with activities that instilled a sense of responsibility and pride in the students. It was a heartwarming celebration that empowered students to contribute to the nation's future and reinforce the values that make them the true foundation of India's progress.
