Excursion to Vijay Dairy
Class V students visited Vijay Dairy on 02 August 2024 to gain practical insights into the dairy's operations, including milk collection, processing, transportation, testing and manufacturing of various dairy products. The visit provided a valuable learning experience as students observed pasteurization, curd, butter making and milk packaging using machines. Additionally, they witnessed the production of sweets like rasgulla, gulab jamun, and peda and the chaat section where kachori and pani puri was prepapred. The students were impressed by the extensive machinery and had the opportunity to explore the cold storage where dairy products were stored. The knowledge gained from this visit can be beneficial for understanding complexities of dairy farming and the continuous efforts required to produce high quality dairy products. Overall, it was an enriching learning experience that they will treasure.
