World Music Day
The Music Department of Delhi Public School Tapi hosted an engaging World Music Day Assembly on 24 June 2024. The event's primary goal was to educate students about various musical instruments. The music teachers delivered an insightful presentation and categorised instruments into three main types: wind, percussion and string. They demonstrated each category with specific examples. Senior students from the Tabla and Violin camps showcased their talents through a group performance, playing different instruments. The assembly aimed to deepen students' appreciation for music, broaden their knowledge of musical instruments and inspire active participation in musical activities.
