EVS Camp

The Class IV Environmental Science Camp, held from 07 April to 11 April 2025, offered students a hands-on learning experience through engaging experiments, nature activities, and scientific observations.

On Day 1, students explored density and buoyancy through the Floating Lemon, Water and Oil and Sink or Float experiments. These activities helped them understand how different materials interact with water.

Day 2 introduced fun concepts like surface tension, carbonation, and capillary action. Students enjoyed the Magic Pepper and Soap and Dancing Raisins experiments and saw how water travels in plants through the Colour Changing Flowers activity. A Solar Street Light model was also showcased to promote awareness of renewable energy.

Day 3 focused on botany and creativity, as students identified Compound and Simple Leaves during a garden walk and created beautiful Fallen Leaf Crafts using dry leaves.

On Day 4, students engaged in microscopic activities, using magnifiers to observe bread mould and algae, gaining insights into fungal growth and aquatic plant life.

The EVS camp successfully combined scientific exploration with creativity, helping students connect classroom concepts to the world around them.
