Eco-Friendly Fashion Show
In celebration of the World Environment Day, the students of Class IX hosted an Eco-Friendly Fashion Show titled “ECO-TASTIC” on 18 June 2024 transforming the auditorium into a vibrant display of sustainable creativity. The event featured designed outfits and accessories made from recycled materials like newspapers, leaves, flowers and jute, showcasing the innovative potential of upcycled fashion. Aarna Ghadia, the show stopper portrayed as the Poison Ivy, a botanist-turned-misanthropic eco-terrorist with the ability to control all plant life. The students displayed in groups of The Paper Kingdom, The Plant Plethora and the Fiber Fantastic. The show highlighted the urgent need to address the environmental impacts of fast fashion. It not only raised awareness about sustainability but also fostered a sense of community and creativity, inspiring attendees to consider eco-friendly choices in their daily lives.
