Maths Mela

Maths Mela was organised for Classes VI-VIII students on 21 December 2024 to honour the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. This event aimed to make mathematics engaging and enjoyable for students, featuring a variety of interactive games and activities that captivated participants and sparked their curiosity. Some of the highlighted activities included Napier’s Bone, Algebrians, Pie and Pizza, Saving with integers, Triangle and its properties and Cube Theorist, each contributing uniquely to the learning experience. Parents attended the event and expressed their appreciation for the engaging approach to teaching mathematics. The Maths Mela successfully created an atmosphere where students could appreciate the beauty of mathematics through play, aligning with Einstein’s belief in the importance of playful exploration in learning.
