Annual Function (VI-XII)
Delhi Public School Tapi celebrated its annual function for Classes VI-XII students at the Sanjeev Kumar Auditorium on 17 October 2024, with the theme “Seven Temptations, Seven Graces.” The event began captivating performance by the school musical band, setting the stage for a series of powerful dances and dramas. Students powerfully portrayed the plight of Mother Earth, ravaged by the seven vices—Greed, Wrath, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Pride and Sloth—symbolizing the corruption of human nature. In contrast, the seven virtues—Humility, Kindness, Patience, Charity, Chastity, Diligence and Temperance—emerged as luminous forces striving to restore balance and heal the planet. The dramatic clash between the vices and virtues, intensified by stunning special effects and evocative music, built to a striking finale where the virtues emerged victorious. This final tableau symbolises humanity's resilience and the transformative power of moral strength in saving the Earth. The evening concluded with the national anthem, leaving the audience deeply moved and inspired.
