On 21 August 2024, Class VII visited Andhjan Shikshan Mandal, the local blind school as part of their community outreach program. The students participated in interactive sessions, learning about the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals. Students visited a special library where they gained a better understanding of how Braille invention has impacted the world of Blind school. In discussion with teachers, they realised the importance of education in empowering the visually challenged. They explored the computer lab and came to know about the importance of (JAWS) a screen reader for blind people. Students also got a chance to visit a recording studio and music room where they heard songs sung by visually challenged kids. The excursion concluded with a heartfelt discussion with some of the visually challenged kids asking them about their field of interest that fostered empathy and understanding about specially abled persons. It was inspiring to witness their enthusiasm and determination despite the challenges they face. Overall, the experience was enlightening and left a lasting impression on the students.
