ASM: Consumer Rights Day

The students of Class VIII B conducted a thought-provoking Consumer Rights Day Assembly on 23 December 2024. The assembly aimed to raise awareness among students about their rights and responsibilities as consumers in an engaging and informative manner. The program commenced with a solemn morning prayer, setting a reflective tone for the day. Following the prayer, the students presented a series of activities to enlighten the audience about consumer rights. The highlight of the assembly was a skit that creatively depicted common scenarios of consumer exploitation and the importance of being vigilant while making purchases. Through powerful performances and relatable situations, the students effectively conveyed the message of standing up for one’s rights as a consumer. Adding to the impact, students recited a Hindi poem that beautifully encapsulated the essence of consumer awareness, inspiring everyone to be cautious and informed buyers. The heartfelt recital resonated deeply with the audience. To further enhance the knowledge of their peers, the students presented Smart Facts about consumer rights, including tips on identifying genuine products, understanding warranties, and knowing where to seek help in case of fraud. These facts were not only informative but also practical for everyday life. The assembly concluded on a patriotic note with the Consumer Pledge, where students vowed to be responsible consumers and spread awareness about consumer rights. Finally, the National Anthem was sung with pride, marking the end of the assembly.
