Assembly: World Cancer Day
Class IX-B students organised a special assembly to commemorate World Cancer Day on 03 February 2025. The assembly aimed to raise awareness about cancer, its impact, and the importance of prevention and early detection. The theme for this year was "United by Unique". The assembly commenced with a heartfelt prayer focusing on hope, healing, and support for those affected by cancer. It was followed by prayer and recent news related to cancer awareness initiatives around the globe. Students presented a haiku that captured the essence of the theme.
A skit was performed to illustrate the do's and don'ts concerning cancer prevention and care. Through engaging performances, students depicted healthy lifestyle choices, the importance of regular screenings, and the need to avoid harmful habits. The assembly concluded with a self-composed poem by Arya Pawar, which resonated with the audience. The poem encapsulated themes of hope, resilience, and the collective strength required to combat cancer and also fostered empathy and community spirit.
